Great product, will be able to use when I ...

I am recovering from back surgery and really need to get strong again. I am using the walking sticks with a safety belt(another person walks with me) and I am regaining strength daily. Great product, will be able to use when I am healthy again.

Great for extra stability and power.

I am 70 and have a bad back. I used these poles when walking longer distances, uphill and down. It really helps at my age and in my health circumstances to use my arms as well as my legs for extra stability and added power. This is my second pair! I lost the others on a trip to Europe. Ordered another pair immediately upon my arrival home! Easy us adjust and carry on a trip.

Good for people of moderate weight

I am writing this review for my son who requested these and I got them for him as a present. With the coming of rain in California the hillsides get pretty slippery. He powered up the hills and gave him stability on the way down. They are strong enough but don’t extend them out to the fullest. Leave them in a few inches and it adds to the strength of the poles. The retract for storage or if your like me I wear a backpack and they fit inside my pack when I’m not using them

Even went to the beach with them. I use my on walkways,uneven ground and sand for balance and to keep my trunk upright

Great on Appalachian trail

I have had no problem with them at all, but I have yet to take them on a high grade hike. Love the fact they are compact with changeable tips as I can use them in any terrain. Am planning a desert hike so it should be good. Been great in the Appalachian mountains.
