Great IK for the price. We have used the hard sided kayaks for years, but they are now to heavy for me to mount on top of the jeep by myself, without denting and scratching the SUV. The Excursion Pro was a very good solution for my problem. We have used it 3 times already and love it! It handles comparably to the hard-sided models. It is comfortable to sit in and spacious for 2 people. I really like the ease and speed of set up and deflation. We have it down to a system now. The material and construction are sturdy and look like it will stand up nicely in normal use. Going to use it again in the next few days - will keep you updated!
Purchased this because we didn't want to store a hard shell. Super glad we did. Way more reviews on the cheaper line they've had for a while, but this is built even better so will have many great reviews coming soon.
We bought this to replace a bulky Canoe that we had stored in our Garage. This Kayak allows us the same mobility on the water with only a fraction of the space that was used for the canoe. This inflates quickly and looks as though it will last for many years if properly kept. Only one small issue is that for larger people 6' the canoe is rather wide at 37" and the paddles are short so you end up rubbing the side of the kayak unless you really watch your stroke. I bought a longer paddle that eliminates that issue. I had a small pinhole leak in one of the seats which I repaired. Be careful not to over inflate the seats as I did, as the thermobonding separated. I wish they included a second booster seat. So far so good with this unit have had it out 7 times now.
Got this for my BF as a birthday gift, took it out to the water and had a blast. Watched a lot of YouTube videos comparing different types and quality’s of inflatable rafts before buying. This was the more expensive of the crafts that I was looking at and I picked it because it had larger leg room and nicer seats and foot rests. Very happy with it. Was easy to inflate with the provided pump and had inflation guide to help not over inflate it. Only thing I might change is the paddles as they felt a bit short to me. But thats not so bad compared with the quality of the craft itself. The material felt very durable. Looking forward to taking it out on the water again!
Way better quality than imagined - this is no toy! Easy to fit back in the bag. When inflated, care with the valves because they have 2 positions ( open and close) for air but the positions are not marked - after inflating it a couple of times you will understand how it works. Good quality, room enough for 2. The footrest is a plus. Most inflatable kayaks are sold without and I can only imagine how uncomfortable they areUpdate - Do not drag on concrete/ sand - it got worn so I can see the texture of the fabric - about half way of thickness - just over 150 ft of dragging!!
